These terms and conditions state how My Schools Out Ltd will conduct its business through its website and any other associated products and services. They govern our working relationships with:

  • Users: members of the general public who access our website
  • Providers: organisations who run holiday playschemes and other services that we list on our website
  • Advertisers: Organisations that purchase advertising space from us and display advertisements on our website

The terms ‘you’ and ‘your’ refer to you, as a user, provider or advertiser.
The terms ‘My Schools Out’, ‘My Schools Out Ltd’, ‘we’  and ‘us’ refer to My Schools Out Ltd and/or its website

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By accepting these terms and conditions you agree to work with My Schools Out, according to the requirements that are set out below.

We may amend or add to these terms and conditions without notice to you, so please check them periodically.

3.Conditions for purchasing advertising

The prices and terms for purchasing advertising space are published on our website. Please ensure that you have read and understood them prior to contacting us. We may change our pricing without notice.

Currently we do not offer an online payment service. If you would like to place an advertisement please contact us to discuss your needs, and if a booking is made we will arrange payment by invoice.

Payment for advertisements will be taken in advance. Banners and towers will only appear on the website once the first payment has been received.

Advertising contracts for periods of six months or longer will require advertisers to set up a standing order providing payments at monthly intervals  monthly payments. If payment is not received from a standing order on the agreed day of the month, the associated advertisement/s will be taken off the website that day.

My Schools Out reserves the right to decline requests for advertising placements if we feel that the advertisement or its parent company are not appropriate for our website, or are in conflict with any of our services or values. We also reserve the right to cancel any advertising bookings if we feel, on reflection, that they are not appropriate. In this situation, we will refund any monies paid in advance for space that will consequently not be taken.

My Schools Out will refund any monies paid in advance for advertising placements that are not honoured due to the website closing for unforeseen reasons. Similarly, if the website is temporarily offline for periods of more than one day (24 hours), My Schools Out will refund the cost of those lost days to all current advertisers.

4. Intellectual property

All copyright, trade marks (registered or unregistered) and other intellectual property rights of whatsoever nature arising from all materials, content and information on this site, including the site’s design, layout and organisation, are owned or licensed by My Schools Out Ltd.

Except where stated, none of the material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted, or transmitted in any form by any means, including but not limited to, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise without the prior written permission of My Schools Out Ltd.

Permission is granted to access, download, or print such material for your personal, non-commercial use only and is subject to these terms and conditions.

5. Data Protection

My Schools Out is fully compliant with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1989.

Any personal information we hold and process has been provided voluntarily with confirmed consent.

6. Membership of My Schools Out

If you sign up to become a member of our website you will be able to save favourite searches. You may also receive email bulletins from us according to the preferences you provide when you register as a member.

If you wish to change your preferences for receiving emails you can do so at any time by contacting us.

My Schools Out provides links to third party web sites either through advertisements or links within our information listings pages. We are to responsible the quality, suitability, functionality or legality of any sites to which we may provide links, or any goods or services available from them.

All matters concerning any goods and services that you purchase from a third party, including without limitation all contract terms are solely between you and the owner of that organisation.

My Schools Out will not be liable for any costs or damages to you or any third party arising directly or indirectly from a link to any website accessed via My Schools Out.

My Schools Out Ltd is providing this site on an ‘as is’ basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties.

While My Schools Out aims to ensure that all information it provides in its listings is accurate and up-to-date, this cannot be guaranteed. We publish information that has been supplied to us by the providers themselves. It is ultimately the providers’ responsibility to ensure that this information is up-to-date. However, we will contact providers regularly in order to give them the opportunity to update their details.

Whilst My Schools Out endeavours to ensure that the information on this site is correct, no warranty, express or implied, is given as to its accuracy and My Schools Out does not accept any liability for error or omission.

You may link to, provided that you do so in a way that is fair and legal, and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
